I can't believe I just found this out...

Mitch Hedberg is dead. My absolute favorite comic. Beyond just a comic, he's contributed so much to the vocabulary of my life... and made me smile so much, ya know? I just found out he died, but it didn't just happen. He died of heart failure over six months ago! March 30! How is it I just heard about it now?

freakykat and I are so sad... I had to tell her when she got home from work, and my starter was, "We won't be able to go to a Mitch show." We had just been talking about how we needed to go to a show of his. He was just so funny, man... and lovable. He was like a Muppet or something, he was so endeared to us. Actually, imagine the rock and roll spirit of Animal, but coming through the very laidback quiet cool delivery of Zoot, mixed with a good dose of Fozzie funnyman... oh wait, Gonzo's gotta fit in there somewhere! lol

And Kermit!!! Because, bears can be mean (oops, sorry Fozzie), but frogs are always cool!!! *wink*

We'll miss you, Mitch.
