Summary: Basically, the boys keep not quite getting it right.  Frustrations abound, but... happy end :)  POV alternates and time jumps forward a few times but it's always made clear.  5175 words.
Author's Notes: Well, I think I did a pretty good job of making it an enjoyable read whether you're someone who appreciates Simon or really does not at all (hi Marina, lol).  Oh, and when I talk about Gale being in a play, it's *not* supposed to be SLS.  It's just a hypothetical play that I never name, so costars are hypothetical and made up as well.  I wonder if it gets corny at the end... but I don't think ya'll will mind, lol.
