Actually, make that technical ignorance.
I went to AO3 to take my sequel ficlet to Inviting The Fire (Tending The Flame), which I had posted just like another chapter of the original, off as a chapter and repost it properly as a sequel, second part of a series kind of thing. That worked fine.
But while I was there, I decided to put ITF under the name wouldbedorothy as well as AHS (the name I have everything posted under). Then I immediately decided to take wbd back off because it made it look like it had two authors. But apparently you can't remove a pseud once you've put it on a fic. That's one of AO3's "known issues."
I should have left it. It was fine, really. Instead I decided it would work to orphan the fic under the wouldbedorothy pseud. Not smart. Now ITF has authorS(!) listed as "AHS" (good) and "orphan_account" (nooo, BAD!). I hate it. It still looks like there was another author, plus now it looks like the fic was abandoned. See?

I sent in a feedback form to the archive but I don't think there's a way to fix it. I would almost consider deleting the whole thing and reposting, even losing comments, because I think that would at least get rid of the tag. But I dunno. Would the fic still be floating on the orphaned page, too, somehow? (Now that "AHS" is not technically only listed author, not 100% sure has full deleting power. Make sense?)
Anyhoo, I put a shouting note at the top of ITF that says it was written by ONLY ME! lol... *sigh*
