That last line knocked me for a six!
and “There exists only one absolutely exception.” Aawwww… here I went all mushy and goofy grin – just know I must look extremely stupid staring at my notebook, frowning, left-hand pinching my lips to just keep a straight face… let’s call it my GR expression! The pinching doesn’t work with the smut scenes, though… lol Can’t even completely hide those behind keeping my hand in pressed up against my mouth! And the uncomfortable shifting in my seat must be a dead give-away… lol
I actually only know, and very much love, GR through your eyes, as the characters in your stories, which makes this special to me as well. It brings up memories of all the awesome moments they have together in your fic, which makes me go all weak-kneed every time. I didn’t read this as just a well-written stand-alone piece, but a very beautiful, different angle to the many times they stared into one another’s eyes, of which there must still be many more! Please. >:)
