QaF 30 Day meme, Days 1-10

I decided to join in the fun and do the meme :) But I still haven't even finished the 30 day TV meme I started MONTHS ago, lol, so I figure the best way to go about this one is to do it in big chunks. Here's #'s 1-10:
Day 1 - How did you come to Queer as Folk and the fandom?
It had to be... late 2006?
freakykat was my roomie and we were obsessed with Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right.” I didn’t have a job so I had lots of time to search YouTube for videos set to the song, lol, any and all fandoms. The best one I found happened to be a Brian/Justin video. I had heard of them but had never seen the show, and wasn’t quite yet into (or even used to) watching boys together. But damn, I saw something I liked. And that sparked the obsession. Kat bought the DVDs and got re-obsessed while introducing me to it. By April 2007 I was writing and actually had a reason to go to LJ again, lol :) Thank you, Nelly Furtado and Kat!!!
Day 2 - Your favorite QaF season
Um… not 5.
Lol, that’s about all I can say with conviction, though 5 certainly had its high points for me. All the rest are strong contenders for different reasons. My favorite time on the show is early S2...first four, maybe six eps. But the later eps of S2 I really hardly ever watch (hmmm wonder why). I guess if I had to pick one overall favorite season I would go with S1! S1 always makes you remember the initial magic of seeing this show like nothing you'd seen before and how hard you fell for these characters right from the start.
Day 3 - Your favorite QaF episode
I must have two answers! I always say my favorite episode is 202, and that is true, but it’s Brian/Justin that make it my favorite. I am a total sucker for post-bashing B/J. But, if I think more about all the characters and storylines, the ep as a whole, I’d have to say 314. Possibly the most impressively done episode of all.
Day 4 - Your favorite QaF season intro episode
I will say… 201.
501, I honestly can’t even remember off the top of my head, lol. 301, just… OWW. 401 is a contender, and 101 started it all, of course. But, like I said, I’m all about post-bashing. 201 hurts, too, but in such a good way. Brian's secret hospital night visits, watching Justin sleep through the window? Gah. Love.
Day 5 - Your favorite QaF season finale
My answer for Day 3 should make it clear… 314! :)
Day 6 - Your favorite storyline
Man, these questions are hard!!! Okay, I’m starting to feel repetitive, lol, but early S2, post-bashing. Then maybe end S3 into S4, Ted going into rehab and Blake being his counselor. That was just brilliant. And I'm a sucker for their tortured romance, too.
Day 7 - Your favorite main character
Brian Kinney. Favorite character of all-time, anywhere.
Day 8 - Your favorite minor character
So many good ones, but I have big huge crushes on both Blake and Jennifer. Love them best and can't choose.
Day 9 - Your least favorite character
This is a question that could go different ways, you know? I don’t know if I should say a character that is hateful or just not that interesting. I barely remember Brandon, lol, but then again I've not watched those eps much. I hate Chris Hobbes but that fucking drabble I wrote from the baseball bat POV actually made me kind of... not empathize, but see him as a human being, I guess? When I really think about it, even as horrible as Stockwell was, he doesn’t rate. The hands-down most hateful character, no redeeming qualities at all, has to be Hunter’s mother. Can't remember the bitch's name and don't care. Kill her with your death stare, Michael!!!
Day 10 - Your favorite couple
Brian/Justin. Favorite couple ever, anywhere.
