My birthday... not quite...

freakykat took me to Las Vegas on Saturday (well, I drove most of the way, but she paid! lol) for a week early birthday celebration!

We stayed the night at the Mirage, which is simply gorgeous! Vegas itself I think I truly appreciated for the first time, how pretty it is, as we walked (in really balmy nice weather) to my surprise, which turned out to be seeing The Producers! Starring David Hasselhoff as the delicious director in drag, Roger DeBris! Good lord, I'm really proud of him! He was so hysterical! I hadn't been sure I wanted to see the theater production of The Producers because I'm so in love with the original movie (which has many differences), but I'm really glad Kat got us tickets because it was lots of fun.

And we played a li'l slots in the hotel casino and I made 60 bucks! :)

I looked everywhere for a hot boy in a kilt,

vandonovan, but no such luck. Does Hasselhoff in a fabulous gown and high heels count for anything? lol... Don't worry, I'm putting the $60 towards Scotland.

Must go to bed. Have to get up early and return the rental car, whose name is Biscuit.

Should I have gone into Caesar's Palace and collected one of those hunky Trojan boys in their skirt thingies? Kat suggested that, lol, but I didn't think it would be the same. (Still might've been fun for me, though. Darn, I should have said yes.)

Yay for the S'mores slot machines with the 7's with chocolate bars and graham crackers and flaming marshmallows on them, lol.

At one point, as we were walking through the Mirage casino (actively looking), Kat said, "That guy looks like Jamie! Maybe we could ask him to put on a kilt!" I looked but only really saw a retreating yellow sweater (yellow!) and the back of a head with a somewhat Jamie-esque haircut. I have my doubts that he was cute enough, but if I'd had a kilt in my purse, I definitely would have tackled him and helped him into it :)

AHahahaha, well, at least it was an attempt? I would have clearly forgotten all about looking for boys in kilts for a friend. But I'm pleased you had an eye out, hahahaha.

And now I'm damn hungry. Aaah, what to eat.

lol, I had a whole plan in my head at one point! Before we played the slots, Kat left our camera in our room, and I was like "I bet NOW we'll find a hot kilt boy." And I started thinking "Hmm, okay, when I find him, I'll send Kat upstairs, and I'll follow him discreetly and call Kat on her cell to let her know his location... Or should I just pounce on him and try flirting and hope for the best??"

Man, I'm getting too good at the stalking thing. Even just hypothetical stalking, lol.

There is no food here. I am reduced to some year old Thin Mints I found in the freezer. Nutritious breakfast.

I found some sunflower seeds, hooray. *munches* Breakfast of champions. Erm, I guess it's lunch now.

Forgetting your camera is also good incentive for awesome things to happen. Hope you had a camera cell phone on you, JUST IN CASE, hahaha.

I grew up majorly obsessed with The Wizard of Oz. It was the theme of most of my birthdays. My mom spray-painted my white church shoes red and put sequins on them to make me ruby slippers. I had a li'l stuffed Benji dog that I made a new tag for - that said "Toto" - and carried around in a basket. I would get home from school, watch the movie, rewind it and watch it again, while wearing the shoes and a li'l dress and acting it out. Then watch Return To Oz or The Wiz and do the same thing, lol. So, yeah, I wanted to be Dorothy.

I just recently saw Les Mis on stage for the first time a few months ago. I'd liked the musical since I was little, but it took me until recently to actually see it, hahaha. Go figure. My favorite is Starlight Express, though. I'm pathetic. XD Although I've enjoyed RENT every time I've seen it.

Well, I didn't see all these things recently :PPP I have had several jobs in my life, it's just none of them lasted very long, lol. But I'm sure at least ONE of the times I saw Wicked, I had a job!

Yes, she is my current gf. Although I may have been dating other people in photos with me a the time the photo was taken. If that makes sense, hahaha.

Anyway, I'm mostly just being mean. I don't have a job either. I didn't pay for Les Miz, it was a present from the gf. And I didn't pay for Wicked either, she bought those tickets too! As for what you should watch, I think just about every Doctor Who serial in existance is uploaded on YouTube, either by me or by someone else. It depends on which Doctor you want to watch.

My favorite fanfic I ever wrote is a Nine/OMC fic. With R-rated porn. It also happens to be Nine/Adric and Nine/Rose at the same time, and it's awesome and I reread it and don't remember writing it. :D So that's probably what he's happy about, hahaha.

If you want to watch a Jamie-serial, the earliest surviving serial is "Tomb of the Cybermen" which I know is on YouTube. There are earlier ones that have some missing episodes/some surviving episodes, but Tomb is the earlier completely surviving one. It's pretty good too; Victoria's second serial.
