I guess the newness has worn off...

wouldbedorothyI no longer feel like I have to update my LJ every day. That's probably a good thing for those who read it 'cause my life is not that interesting and I really shouldn't force it, lol.
It finally started snowing in NC. I still have a job. Two customers have asked me out and I didn't freak out majorly.
One guy, Mike, comes in every day and he seems pretty harmless. Although he did jokingly suggest I get his initials tattooed across my forehead. The guy today, Kevin, was working putting up a sign for a new business next door and kept coming in for refills on his tea to talk to me. He gave me his phone number which I accepted but told him not to expect me to call. I don't want anyone to feel rejected so I say everything from "I don't date" to "I think I have a repressed childhood trauma" to make him understand it's seriously me not him. Also threw in "I'm moving to California in June." He's like "You can reach me at home tonight by six" and I'm like "But I'm not gonna call!" lol. I did give him my email and he emailed me already... very simple and seemingly sane, though the use of all caps does say psycho a bit. I guess I'll respond but don't know with what.
On the way out he actually said "You're too fine a woman to be single." LMAO... uhh... if you say so...

Oh and for others who may be wondering who in hades I am, I'm Kel.. a friend of AH's. We're buds from her Days of Our Lives Days.. before she went Corinthos Crazy ;) LOL Alas.. I'm still a Days Nut and slowly creeping back into GH. Been a fan for many years but have watched off and on the last couple of years. I'm still trying to catch up storyline wise.
